I have found that sit-ups only can actually be much more harmful than helpful. If a sit-up is not performed correctly it can affect your body adversely. It wil put strain on your back and neck. Try to stick to crunches instead. Also make sure you find workouts that are a bit creative. There are many exercises out there for a fitness ball that are the best help. Plus you can perform these exercises anytime in the comfort of your own home.
Having a good six pack diet is just as important as having a good workout routine. If you are not watching what you eat then your exercises could be for nothing. Just remember, you are trying to show off the muscles that are under that layer of fat on your stomach. Watch what you eat and lower your calories a bit and you will have much better results.
