Reasons why squeezing pimples on your face feels good even if it hurts

As for everyone, it has been suggested by the dermatologists and skin care experts that popping pimples is never a good idea. Either you have a sensitive or delicate skin or you are an aged person with hard skin cells on your facial skin, it is never a good thing to practice pimple popping or squeezing pimples.

It is proven that squeezing and popping the pimples leave the skin cells damaged, cause scars on it and may leave dark spots or irritated skin. These scars and spots never fade away easily until and unless they are treated properly.

Regardless of the fact that everyone knows the side-effects of squeezing pimples, most of us still prefer to squeeze a pimple to get rid of the puss inside them. It is quite obvious that we need to care for our skin and should not practice things that damage it. Knowing all the after-effects may not inhibit all of us from squeezing the pimples. There are a lot of reasons behind the practice and we can see many people who prefer to get rid of pimples by squeezing them out.

A common reason people do so even it is painful and hurts the skin in many ways are:

  • The quick satisfying effect could be a reason when we see a pimple gone from our skin even if there is a red or dark spot on our face. Squeezing a pimple is satisfying even if it’s a painful practice because people can get rid of a pimple immediately which is the basic intention for doing so. In that case, people simply ignore the after effects and go for a quick remedy.
  • Sometimes people are unaware of the different types of pimples and they may not know if their skin has been affected by the pimples in real. Considering that the puss filled spot could not be a pimple and they can squeeze it without any further damage to the skin or cause a breakout.
  • It feels good because people need an instant relief from the pain caused by a pimple and when they squeeze it, the pain is gone but the spot develops.
  • The practice seems easy, instant and helpful and may encourage people to follow it despite it is damaging in the long run.
