The Best Calorie Burning Tips

Burning calories is the overall goal when trying to lose weight. Some people think they can take the easy way out and spend money on some fake fad diets. The case with these fad diets is that they almost always limit your body from something that it should not. As soon as you go back to your normal diet routine, the weight always comes back on.

Rather than waste your valuable time and hard earned money on programs that just don’t work for the long haul, get in the gym and learn how to start burning calories and put on some lean muscle. The amount of calories you burn in the gym are dependent upon three things: How much you weigh, the duration of your exercise, and the amount of intensity you put it into it.

Generally speaking, the heavier you are, the more calories you are going to burn in the gym. It requires more energy to move more weight, therefore you are going to use more calories to push your weight around. So as you begin to lose more weight, in order to keep up with the amount of calories you have been burning, you are going to have to either work out longer, or harder.

The longer you are going to exercise for, the more calories and the more weight you are going to lose. On the other hand, if you don’t have much time, or long durations of time to workout, then you can make up that time by pushing your intensity levels. So essentially you could burn the same amount of calories in 30 minutes as you could in an hour, but you are going to have to work twice as hard.

You really need to think amount how much time you are going to have in the gym and how many calories you want to burn before you begin you workout routine.

The way I do it is I use a rating system. So if I have more time I will use longer workouts in the 1 – 3 range. If I have a some time but not a lot, I may do a few less workouts in the 4 – 6 range. Now if I only have a few minutes here and there throughout the day, I will do just a few workouts but in the 7 – 10 intensity range.

Thinking about it like this will help you learn to lose more weight and be more efficient with your time in the gym.
